Publish For India is led by a dedicated group of academic leaders, publishing professionals, and institutional collaborators committed to building a more inclusive, ethical, and impactful research and publishing ecosystem in India.
To ensure strategic guidance, national coordination, and deep engagement across sectors, we are supported by four core pillars:
The National Publishing Strategy Board serves as the high-level leadership body guiding the vision, priorities, and national coordination of the Publish for India initiative. Bringing together senior academics, publishing leaders, and policy advisors, the Board shapes long-term strategies to strengthen India’s research publishing ecosystem—ensuring it is inclusive, ethical, globally visible, and aligned with national missions like Viksit Bharat and Make for India.
A consultative body of senior academics, journal editors, and institutional leaders who provide insights on research excellence, integrity, and capacity-building across disciplines and regions.
This Board unites leaders from publishing, academia, technology, and industry to provide strategic guidance and ensure research and publishing connect meaningfully with society, markets, and governance.
A distinguished panel ofVice Chancellors and institutional heads who offer leadership on academic policies, institutional collaboration, and strategic initiatives. This Board ensures that Publish for India is closely aligned with higher education priorities, research standards, and institutional development across the country.
Meet the editorial directors, advisors, and coordinators shaping our programs, partnerships, and national roadmap. With deep experience across academia, research, publishing, and public policy, this team drives the day-to-day leadership of the initiative.
The full leadership structure will continue to evolve in consultation with partners and institutions.
