Publish for India (PFI) has officially entered into comprehensive five-year Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading institutions across the country to enhance the global visibility, credibility, and ethical standards of their research output.
These strategic alignments bring together premier institutions—including P P Savani University, MIT University, Meghalaya, Mody University of Science and Technology, and Gokul Global University—and Publish for India, a national initiative specializing in scholarly publishing strategy and research integrity.
Over the next five years, these partnerships will bridge the gap between Indian scholarship and international recognition by providing equitable, high-quality publishing support.
Conducting specialized workshops on manuscript writing, publishing ethics, responsible AI use, and journal selection strategies. The initiative also includes one-on-one editorial guidance for doctoral scholars and faculty, along with co-certified programs in "The Strategy of Publishing".
Providing technical support to align partner universities' existing journals with the indexing criteria for Scopus, Web of Science (Clarivate), and DOAJ. The partnership also supports the launch of new academic journals and the implementation of robust peer-review systems.
Strengthening the internal Institutional Publishing Cell and uploading e-theses and working papers to the PFI portal to enhance citation metrics. Outstanding academic contributions will be recognized through PFI-certified awards, including "Best Thesis," "Best Research Scholar," and "Best Research Supervisor
Transforming complex, field-based doctoral findings into structured Policy Briefs and Impact Whitepapers targeted at policymakers, government bodies, and NGOs. This initiative documents partner institutions' societal contributions and supports NAAC/NIRF requirements.
Assisting universities in appointing Adjunct Professors, Professors of Practice, and Industry Experts, alongside a partnership for listing university job vacancies on the PFI portal.
These collaborations are driven by the shared vision of university and initiative leaders to actively combat predatory publishing practices and enhance the global credibility of the Indian research ecosystem. These agreements have been formalized by the visionary leadership, Vice Chancellors, and Provosts of our partner institutions, alongside Ms. Sagarika Ghosh (Founding & Managing Director) and Dr. Naren Aggarwal (Publishing Director) of Publish for India.
